Toronto liegt in der Provinz Ontario und ist mit 2,5 Millionen Einwohner die bevölkerungsreichste Stadt Kanadas. Am Ontariosee gelegen, verbindet Toronto Großstadt-Feeling und dörflichen Charme mit freundlichen Menschen unterschiedlichster Hautfarbe, wie ich es in der westlichen Welt selten erlebt habe. Eine wirklich tolle Stadt!

Toronto is part of the province Ontario and with its 2.5 million people, it's Canada's biggest city. It lies on the shore of lake Ontario and combines metropolis and 'village-style' feeling, together with very friendly people of the most different ethnic backgrounds in the way I've experienced it rarely in the Western World. A great city indeed!

Die Innenstadt, nicht weit vom Hauptbahnhof. Wir sind mit dem Zug von Toronto nach New York City gefahren. Eine tolle Fahrt! Obwohl die US-Amerikanische Grenzkontrolle ziemlich unglimpflich mit allen Passagieren umging.

Downtown. The picture was taken not far from the main station. We took the train from Toronto to New York City. It was a great trip, though the US Border Patrol was a bit harsh to all passengers.
