Sylt - Deutschlands beliebte Insel der Reichen und Berühmten. Klischee oder doch Realität? Ob Sansibar oder Gosch, Fakt ist, günstig is Sylt nicht. Das hält jedoch auch Familien mit Kindern nicht davon ab, diese schöne Nordseeinsel zu besuchen. Jedes Jahr im September, zieht Sylt besonders viele junge Menschen an. Dann ist Sylt für eine Woche der Mittelpunkt der Windsurfer Szene und tausende angereiste Besucher feiern in Westerland bis in die Morgenstunden.

Sylt - Germany's popular island among the rich and famous. Cliche or true reality? Whether Sansibar or Gosch, in fact, Sylt is not a low-priced place. However, that does not keep families with children from visiting this beautiful North Sea island. Every year in September, Sylt draws particularly a lot of young people to its shores. During that one week, Sylt becomes the centre of the windsurfing scene and thousands of arriving visitors are making party in Westerland till dawn.

In der Ferne sind die zahlreichen Windkrafträder auf dem Festland von Schleswig-Holstein zu sehen. Auch zu erkennen ist der Hindenburgdamm, auf dem der Sylter Autogzug verkehrt und das Festland mit der Insel Sylt verbindet.

In the far you can see lots of wind turbines which are on the mainland of Schleswig-Holstein. What you can also see is the 'Hindenburgdamm' on which the Sylt Car Train commutes and connects the mainland with the island of Sylt.
