Das Ibiza Asiens! Nirgendwo sonst in Thailand findet man so viele junge Touristen als dort. Koh Samui und ihre kleinere Nachbarinsel Koh Phangan ist das Ziel Hunderttausender auf der Suche nach Sonne, Strand und vor allem Party, Party, Party! Australier und Engländer bilden hier die größte Gruppe. Die Partyhochburg ist der Chaweng Beach im Osten der Insel.

Natürlich hat Koh Samui auch viele ruhige Orte. Die finden ich zumeist im Norden und Süden.

Koh Samui and its little neighbour island Koh Phangan are the destination of hundreds and thousands seeking for sun, beach an most of all party, party party! Australians and Britons make up the biggest group. The party epicentre is located at Chaweng Beach on the island's east side.

Certainly, Koh Samui does have many calm places. Those are found mostly in the North and South.

Das erste Mal mit AirChina von Frankfurt nach Bangkok für günstige 675 EUR und das zur Hauptsaison (2. Weihnachtsfeiertag)! Für den Preis muss man dann halt Abstriche beim Unterhaltungsprogramm machen (siehe nur ein großer Bildschirm).

Flying with AirChina for the first time from Frankfurt to Bangkok for cheap 675 EUR and this at peak season (2nd Christmas Holiday)! With this price you then have to forgo some points like a very good entertainment program (just one big screen for all).

Kurzer Zwischenstopp in Peking nach 9 Stunden Flug von Frankfurt. Weitere 5 Stunden noch vor mir bis nach Bangkok. Fazit AirChina: Preiswert und pünktlich. Ich würde nochmals mit dieser Fluggesellschaft fliegen.

Ankunft in Bangkok und weiter geht's! 12 Stunden Nachtbusfahrt nach Surat Thani. Das Busticket kostete nur 375 Baht (9 Euro). Das Bild zeigt eine der vielen Raststätten, die alle 3 Stunden für eine 20-minütige Pause angefahren werden.

Arrival in Bangkok but my journey goes on! A 12-hour bus rice to Surat Thani. The bus ticket price was just 375 Baht (9 Euro). The picture shows one of the many rest stops along the way, where the buses took a 20-minute break every 3 hours.

Deutsch:
Nach 44 Stunden!!!!!!!!!!! Zug, Flug, Taxi, Bus und Fähre endlich in Koh Samui angekommen. Startpunkt: Düsseldorf. Man hätte es auch entspannter haben können (aber niemals so billig .......**smile).
