Thailands Hauptstadt ist sicherlich eine der interessantesten Städte Asiens. Preiswert und modern, bietet sie ein Fülle von Sehenswürdigkeiten, den Millionen von ausl. Touristen, die jährlich zu Besuch kommen. Um nur einige zu nennen: Königspalast "Wat Phra Kaeo", eine Flussfahrt auf dem Chao Phraya, Tempelanlagen (z. B. Wat Arun, Wat Pho etc.), Nacht- u. Wochenendmärkte, Gemüse- u. Blumenmärkte in den Wasserkanälen (Klongs), moderne Einkaufszentren und natürlich das berüchtigte Nachtleben von Patpong.

Thailand's capital is certainly one of the most interesting cities in Asia. Inexpensive and modern, it offers an abundance of interesting places drawing million of foreign tourists every year. Just to mention a few: The Grand Palace 'Wat Phra Kaeo', a river cruise on the Chao Phraya, dozens of temples (e.g. Wat Arun, Wat Pho etc.), night and weekend markets, floating vegetable and flower markets in Bangkok's water canals (klongs), modern malls and last but not least of course its notorius nightlife in Patpong.
